Transfer Board for Wheelchair Users

Our Transfer Systems offer a safe transition for mobility patients, allowing them to move from a wheelchair to a car, bed, bath, commode, and more with ease and safety. Each device is designed with a rotating seat that helps patients transfer into the correct position without stress. The seat can spin 360 degrees and slide along the base, providing smooth and easy transfers. This innovation reduces the risk of injury to both patients and caregivers, including shoulder, arm, leg, and back injuries.

The transfer system features a low-friction surface and a stable seat that easily glides from one end of the board to the other, supporting up to 400 lbs and providing opportunities for exercise.

Preparation is essential before using the transfer system. The transfer surface should be kept horizontal with an incline or descent of no more than 6 inches between transfer surfaces to prevent slipping or falling. Sufficient space should be reserved for the transfer, and nursing staff can help simulate the transfer to confirm stability and space.

It is important to note that although our products provide great assistance to nurses and patients, when learning to use the transfer board for the first time, patients should have two assistants to help them. The board works well if the patient can raise their upper body enough to get the board underneath, but it is not useful if the patient is unable to do so.
